Map It! Using Maps for Family History Research (workshop) In-Person
Spring is here, and that means it’s time for a spring genealogy workshop. Learn all about how different kinds of maps can help you answer questions and find clues about your ancestors. We’ll have guests to present high-tech and low-tech methods to get the most information out of our maps. This full day workshop begins at 9, so show up bright and early to sign in and get the most learning done. Learn from experts from the Texas General Land Office, HistoryGeo.com and the Genealogy Center how to use maps to answer your genealogical questions. This workshop is sponsored by the Genealogy Center of the Waco-McLennan County Library in cooperation with the Central Texas Genealogical Society.
