Lessons Learned from Harvey : Saving Family and Community History In-Person

Hurricane Harvey impacted the Texas coast in 2017. 
 
Family and community archives were affected.
 
Houston Journalist, Michael C. Duke will share "lessons learned" regarding his own family's efforts to save family photos.  He will also relate efforts to save records from two of Houston's most prominent Jewish synagogues.
 
How to respond or prepare for disaster? 
 
Beth Farwell, Director of Baylor’s Central Libraries, will share preservation resources to help us prepare for or respond to disaster.
