Sunday Collectors’ Corner Prices – half price plus sales tax

Opening Day Admission – Thursday, November 1

Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Doors open at 8 a.m. to buy your numbered wristband. Each person must be present to purchase their own wristband. Friends Members get in free but will still need a wristband. Passes must be exchanged for a wristband.

  • $10.00 per person (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
  • $ 5.00 per person (2 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
  • Ages 12 and under free.
  • No Sales Tax

FREE BIG SPENDER HOLDING AREA – Thursday only – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Planning on 5 or more bags of books? Want faster check out service? Sign up for a free “Big Spender” number when you get your entry wristband.

Use our separate, secure holding and checkout area and have your books tallied while you shop!

  • Mark each bag or box clearly with your Big Spender number and last name. Tell the porter to take your items to the Big Spender holding area.
  • Use your Big Spender number and a letter to keep track of the number of bags you have. i.e. 24-A, 24-B, 24-C
  • When you are ready to check out, so are your books. Enjoy a short line and a dedicated cashier!

Please Note: Big Spender bags are tallied as they come to the holding area to save you time at checkout. Please sort through your books before sending them to the Big Spender holding area.

Saturday, November 3 – Teacher Appreciation Day

Hours: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

  • FREE Admission
  • Teachers with ID save 20% all day (excludes Collectors Corner)
  • Kids Puppet Shows – 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m,

Sunday, November 4 – $10 Bag Day

Extraco Events Center – Creative Arts and General Exhibits Building in Waco, Texas.

Hours: Noon – 6 p.m.

  • FREE Admission
  • Bag of Books $10 – Tax included
  • Collector’s Corner – half price
  • Non-profit Sunday – 5 to 6:00 p.m.
    All local non-profits welcome, with proof of tax-exempt status, to take leftover books for their organizations during this time at no charge. Must provide own help and boxes (2 people per organization).
  • Moonlight Madness – 7 to 9 p.m.
    Remaining books will be offered to the public/book sale attendees for a $10 fee everywhere except the Corner. They may take as many of the remaining books as they can box up in that time frame. Friends’ Members get FREE admission to Moonlight Madness.
