Urban Homesteading 101: Canning In-Person
On the second Saturday of each month, the South Waco Library will provide classes on different aspects of Homesteading. These programs will cover everything from raising chickens to hand quilting to creating your own soap or cleaning products!
This month, our friends from Texas A&M AgriLife will be showing us the basics of canning. We'll learn how to get started, pick up some tips and tricks, and see basic equipment like pressure and electric water bath canners. All Urban Homesteading 101 classes are stand-alone - no previous attendance necessary!
