Blast Off to Family Storytime In-Person
Once school and the workday are done, enjoy some time with your favorite people at your favorite place - the library! We'll listen to stories, sing songs together, and maybe even play with puppets, so pop in for some fun.
This special Blast Off to Famimly Storytime is in celebration of the Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. We'll count down from 10 to 1 and blast off with our bodies pretending to be astronauts in a spaceship. Once in space, we'll explore the planets, sun, and moon, and Ms. Stacy will perform a balloon rocket experiment. Then, kids can make their own straw rockets and fly them through the air!
We will have a limited amount of eclipse glasses available for program attendees. Tickets will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis to be redeemed for one pair of eclipse glasses at the end of the program.
