Beginner's Robot Coding

Beginner's Robot Coding In-Person

Get ready for the future by learning how to program your own robot today! We'll start by showing you the basics of coding using Scratch. You'll then use your skills to make a robot go forward, backward, and turn at different speeds. You can test your robot by maneuvering them around a track. Supplies are limited so entry tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Scratch promotes computational thinking and problem-solving skills; creative teaching and learning; self-expression and collaboration, and equity in computing.

We will have a limited amount of eclipse glasses available for program attendees. Tickets will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis to be redeemed for one pair of eclipse glasses at the end of the program.
