Researching Female Ancestors in Military Records, a Genealogy Brown Bag

Researching Female Ancestors in Military Records, a Genealogy Brown Bag In-Person

From camp followers of yesteryear to the nearly 350,000 women who served in uniform during WWII, women have always served in support or service roles during military conflict. Military records may provide valuable genealogical clues and biographical information about female family members. Bill Buckner will provide examples of military records (service and pension records) and other documents that help tell the story of the women in our family tree and honor their service.
