Adventures in Smelly History with the Mayborn Museum In-Person
Can you believe people used to believe that taking a bath was bad for you? It was a smelly time! Come learn about what life was like in Waco's past when Saturday night was bath night and everyone used the same bath water. Melissa Pennington will talk about how people got smelly and how they got clean. Then, kids will make little good-smelling bags using dried herbs from the village.
This event is part of a year-long series celebrating Waco's 175th anniversary.
