Penguin Party Baby & Toddler Time & National Tooth Fairy Day
Join us in the Children's department play area for a 30 minute storytime made especiallly for toddlers that builds early literacy skills through activities, play, and stories.
As part of our celebration of the opening of Cameron Park Zoo's new Penguin Shores exhibit, this special Baby & Toddler Time will feature the book Flight School by Lita Judge. After the story, kids can make their own little penguin from the book by coloring a drawing and adding "real" feathers. We'll also pretend to be a penguin and practice "flying" through the Children's area.
In honor of National Tooth Fairy Day, we will be handing out penguin toothbrushes while supplies last.
After storytime, kids can color a Penguin Party Storytime coloring sheet to use as your free family admission to the Penguin Party Storytime at Cameron Park Zoo on Friday, August 23!
