Hobbit Week: The Unexpected Journey In-Person
Happy Hobbit Day and Happy Birthday to Bilbo and Frodo Baggins! Visit Central Library anytime today to celebrate with an unexpected journey. Adventurers of all ages will collect a map at the Circulation's desk and complete challenges as they journey through Middle Earth. If you're as clever as Bilbo, you'll complete your adventure and have a chance to win the Arkenstone and a copy of The Hobbit. Kids can also collect a treasure from Smaug's trove. There will be plenty of amazing Hobbity photo ops starting at Bilbo's front door, including floating barrels, an ogre, the giant spider Shelob, and even Smaug!
