Freedom's Forgotten Fighters: Researching African American Patriots, a Brown Bag Program In-Person
Discover the untold stories of African American, Native American, and other Patriots of color who fought for American independence. Learn how to use the DAR Patriots of Color Database and the 10 Million Names project to research and honor these often-overlooked heroes. Regent, Bevil Cohn and members of the Elizabeth Gordon Bradley Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will share search strategies for finding Revolutionary War patriots in these records.
