The Legacy of the Waco Indians, a CTGS Program In-Person
Learn about the rich history of the Waco Indians, a Native American tribe that inspired the name of our city. Derek Ross, Indigenous Scholar in Residence at Baylor University and member of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, will share stories of the tribe’s history and the role they played in shaping local history. This program will shed light on their way of life, their resilience in the face of adversity, and their enduring impact.
