NARA’s Native American Records, a Brown Bag Program In-Person
In honor of Native American Heritage Month, join Aaron Holt, Archives Technician at the National Archives at Fort Worth, for an introduction into the resources available for tracing your Native American ancestry. The primary focus will be on the Five Civilized Tribes – Choctaw, Chickasaw, Muscogee Creek, Seminole, and Cherokee. Learn about key records like Indian Census Rolls, annuities, tribal documents, and boarding school records that can help you uncover your family's history and connect with your heritage.
