Cite Your Sources! In-Person
Librarians not only adore connecting you with research, they also want you to understand the importance of giving credit where credit is due by citing your sources! Why do we cite sources? How do we find credible resources? Is a bibliography and a works cited the same thing?
In this program, participants ages 12-17 will learn how to use the library’s physical and digital resources to research, how to create a bibliographic entry for four types of resources found at the library, and how to directly and indirectly cite those sources in a research paper.
Participants will need to have a library card in good standing and bring their own device. Parents and younger siblings are welcome to stay and read.
