Mystery Book Club: Dead Beat In-Person
If you're looking for a book club and you love whodunits, our Mystery Book Club is for you! This month we will be reading Dead Beat by Jim Butcher. Harry Dresden is the only wizard private investigator in the Chicago phone book, and he also consults for the Special Investigations Department of the Chicago Police Department. Karrin Murphy is the head of the department, and she needs Harry's help with a blackmailer. Harry has to get to the Book of Kemmler before six necromancers to prevent a Halloween that will raise the dead and save his friends reputation. Join the discussion! New members are always welcome.
