Origami Class at Family Storytime In-Person
Tonight, we will learn the fascinating art of origami from Yuri Hatakeyama, a senior at Midway High School, who is passionate about creating origami and was honored to be one of three recipients of a national scholarship to attend the OrigamiUSA Annual Convention in New York City.
Origami is a traditional Japanese art of folding flat sheets of paper into decorative shapes and figures in 3D.
Yuri will spread the joy of origami by teaching at a beginner level so that everyone will leave with their own origami treasure!
