Books & Brews: The Bettencourt Affair In-Person / Online
Our traveling book club will visit Moroso Pizzeria (4700 Bosque Blvd.) to discuss The Bettencourt Affair. Liliane Bettencourt was the world's richest woman, but her life took a dark turn in the last decade. Her scandal started with a bohemian relationship, but eventually uncovered L'Oreal's shadowy corporate history and secrets dating back to WWII. The story is part courtroom drama and part complex family history with an intruder that tears it apart.
