Magazine Blackout Poetry In-Person
Have you tried to write a poem but had trouble finding the words? Let us introduce you to blackout poetry! You'll create a poem by taking a page from a magazine, finding random words that go together in deep, insightful or even humorous ways, then blacking out all the other words. Blackout poetry is something anyone can do, even if you don't consider yourself much of a writer. Stop by West Waco Library's teen area any time between 2 PM - 4:30 PM and let the words speak for you. This program is free for all teens 11-17!
