Books & Brews: The Prophet and the Idiot In-Person
Join our traveling book club as we enjoy the beautiful view of the river from Slow Rise on the Brazos (1620 N M.L.K. Jr Blvd) while we discuss The Prophet and the Idiot by Jonas Jonasson. Set in Sweden in late summer of 2011, self-taught astrophysicist Petra has calculated that the atmosphere will collapse on the 21st of September of that year. But things rarely go to plan, even at the end of the world. No purchase is necessary to join the discussion and new members are always welcome!
